I got an email from Joey that reads...

I am disappointed to know that I can no longer take part in this fun exericise, although I\'ve been in on it from Day 1. Why? Because your gov't's Patriot Act will turn away all letters at the border that don't have a full name for the addressee and a full name and reurn address for the sender. Isn\'t that carrying paranoia a bit far??? Anyway, it was fun while it lasted, but I guess it's good-bye now. Adieu from Canada.

YAY!!! Vote, Vote, Vote, Vote!!!

Then, on your way home from voting...send my mom a postcard or the NEW item of the month. First a little background...as most of you know my mom works at a school, well...we are going to help her school out as well as taking some blame off me...well maybe all of it (we'll see how it goes!!).

This months item is boxtops...her school is participating in the boxtops for kids program, where schools earn money by sending in boxtops from participating products (http://www.boxtops4education.com) . So everyone send boxtops one at a time, or three at a time, of 100s at a time because now we aren't just talking about making my mom smile...we are talking about supporting her community as well! She is really dedicated to her school so I assure you she will turn them in (this will surely be the talk of the school when she is turning in 100's of 1000's of boxtops right??? I want her to receive so many boxtops General Mills has to shut the program down they have given away so much money!! Now part two...we have hopefully already mentioned her principal Jay once. Now...we are going to all but tell her... I want quotes like "Jay told me to send these directly to you!"...or "The bald guy said you might like these!" She will think its him for sure! I think this is hilarious for two reasons...one now she is completely off track and two...he is in the spotlight for something he has absolutely no involvement with! I love it!

I haven't got a final inventory on quilt squares yet...but I think she might have enough to make a quilt! Ill let you know ASAP. I am taking off work early today to do reconnaissance around her place and hopefully sneak out the mail for an hour or so to scan it!
