Postcard Project Update - Wednesday, January 12, 2005

Um...

Have any of you seen my Henway?

Love,
Rick

Hi All:

I have been busy making preparations for Mom's trip to NY! She is going to the Big Apple and just to make sure the PCFM fun doesn't end in Sac. I have spoken to my brother in Conneticut and he is going to drop a Postcard off at the hotel she is staying at to to await her arrival. Standard way of doing it, just her first name and a short message like "sorry I missed you...Maybe next trip."

I am also looking for a volunteer to help us while Mom visits the Time Square Good Morning America set. I would like someone to contact regarding what mom will be wearing and what she looks like to hold a sign above her head that says PCFM!! That way everyone could see Mom!

Any other ideas to keep this going? Anyone want to drop by the hotel or airport and just walk by her and say..."Oh Hi Kay" and wave...and keep walking?? I wish we could organize a few of these through out her trip.

Let me know ASAP so I can assist with any arrangements.

I am also excited as since Mom will be gone 4 days I will have plenty of time to scan and send will as much as possible for the galleries. I am certain hers will be the biggest gallery yet.

Love,
Rick

I'd also like to welcome Diane from Ohio who writes:

Awesome [website]....I stayed up sooo late to read the archives :-)

Thanks, Sarah for this link

This will most likely be Kay's last month. With that said, we need to start considering our options for the next Mom. We also need to think of a cool way to tell Kay about our secret little prank she has unwillingly taken part in...

Rick, we need an item for January, and we need a newsletter, too! Let's go!

Oh, and lastly, if anyone is up for some real cool fun for Kay, check out this site and a really fun way to send her 'mail'...

Postcard Project Update - Monday, January 10, 2005

Hi All:

My update is coming shortly...but I just received this from Jay:

Outstanding!!! Kay is going nuts over a gift she received from Celeste Shepp in Missouri. Apparently, she received something from Hickory Farms and the note said she was in charge of refresments! Kay is beside herself. Today she received a snowflake. All she keeps saying is "Oh my goodness," and "They are cooks!" Another one sent her a scratcher from Maryland! It's from Kim Perkins. She keeps saying Rick knows, but he won't fess up to it.

Who? Me? Innocent me...I am discussing my plan to incriminate Jay with him today, so I will tell you more when I know. I thought it was going good...but it just keeps getting BETTER!

Love,
Rick

I'm considering something new. Something fun. Something, maybe, to help this little project get a bit more personal.

Featured mailer of the month.

Now, several of you have already been featured in articles written about the site, but hey that was a one-time deal. I'm thinking more along the lines of a featured person, from somewhere in the world that:

A: Wants to be featured
B: Would tell everyone about PCFM

Don't you think that'd be fun? Wanna nominate someone? Yourself maybe? We may even be able to get a few prizes together... hmm...
