The Postcards for Mom Pranksters

Mom got some more material yesterday. She said to me "I never told anyone I wanted to make a purple quilt. I had thought it to myself, but never told anyone!" She also got a gorilla postcard that said "Who farted?" on the front. I've noticed some people writing in purple ink. Other than that and the purple material, not too many purple things this month...last month was more "on topic" with word searches.
Great note mentioning making bathrobes for Jimmy and James. I thought that was funny. When I asked her about it, she said "Yeah...bathrobes for my dogs. Just like the missing bathrobe, right?" I still think the missing bathrobe thing is the funniest ongoing issue yet.
I think it's great that mom is getting all this mail and attention. But I think it's wrong to sign her up for magazine subscriptions. Someone signed her up for "Fun family" or something like that, and said to bill her later. So now she has to take time to write a letter to the magazine people and say it was a mistake. I don't think that goes along with the whole nice, fun and uplifting project this website is trying to promote. So let's not do that again, 'kay? Thankee. :)

Some minor website changes today... hope everyone is having a good day.

I don't think she'd connect it if y'all started sending voided checks...I don't know that she'd put that together with what her coworker said. And if everyone had the same check, she'd know for sure that it was through some kind of choreographed thing. Maybe y'all can start saying "Sorry the check is late, I swear I'll mail it soon" or something like that.
Mom has written 4 letters back to some of you, all today. Including one to a lady who said thank you for saying you'll make my daughter a "lovey". Her daughter is going to need to be in a body cast so mom wrote about how she once took care of a little girl in a body cast. Then 3 other letters. Mom got some dogzilla/catzilla notecards today with 2 fat quarters, and the postcard I already mentioned. She seems to be enjoying the whole thing, which is great...dad keeps asking when it will be over. I don't know that he'd be thrilled with extending it through the end of June, I think he's hoping it will end at the end of May. He keeps saying "There's movies, you know, of hudbands trying to drive their wives crazy with things like this"...maybe he's afraid she'll think it was him. PLEASE don't say anything to make it seem like it's him...maybe start mentioning me more? I've only seen me mentioned twice so far, Dale only once, and Jay, not at all...maybe ask how Jay is getting along at his new hospital job? Or ask how Matthew is(he's one of Dale's sons, who just got over a bad bug).

Mom is loving all the material she's been getting. It is possible to send it in a regular business envelope, btw - mom got one on Friday with 3 regular stamps on it. She's still loving the quilting projects. She even worked on mine to help me get closer to finishing it.
Mom has been telling anyone who will listen about the mail. She's told some of the people she's working in the office with. One of the ladies said "Too bad they're not sending checks!". I think mom enjoys it, because she has something unique to talk to people about.
